Dawn Steliga graduated as a Registered Massage Therapist from Wellington College in 2008, so she has been working as a massage therapist for almost 10 years now! She specializes in TMJ dysfunction, as well as advanced diseases and chronic issues. In addition, she is currently pursuing a science degree in Integrated Health, with a bio-medical focus, minoring in psychology with the U of M. When she completes her 4 year degree, she will have a basis to conduct research and work within any health care field. Dawn’s knowledge and expertise ensure that you will receive an amazing massage each and every time you visit her!
Dawn moved her practice her to Creating Health in September of 2015, bringing along her large and dedicated fan base, all of whom just can’t live without her! As a teacher, full-time student, and mother-to-be, she works part-time hours at Creating Health. You can find Dawn at our office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 2:15 to 6:00. Please call the clinic at (204) 253-1900 for specific availability and to book your next massage!
Outside of the office Dawn’s passions include her adorable fur babies (she has 3 cute cats), gardening, yoga and painting. Check out her massage room decor for some examples of her painting talent! She is not one to take a lot of down time, and when she is not keeping busy with work and school, she also teaches courses on Survival, Food Preservation and Nutrition.
Dawn’s husband Doug is also a massage therapist, and they both lead a healthy, active lifestyle. They love to vacation out at the lake, taking time off from their hectic city life and heading out to enjoy nature, where they enjoy fishing, hiking, and kayaking. Occasionally you may even find Dawn sitting and relaxing! (Though it is a rare sight!)
